What is Project SEARCH Realizing Employment Potential?
This Ontario-based initiative strengthens and expands Project SEARCH through a 5-year partnership between the Ontario Disability Employment Network (ODEN) and Holland Bloorview Kids Rehabilitation Hospital. Funded by the Slaight Foundation, it aims to:
- Expand Employer Networks: Engage more businesses to hire Project SEARCH graduates
- Turn Data into Action: Use collected data to guide strategy and align training with industry-specific labour market needs
- Standardize Support: Offer employers tools like disability confidence training, recruitment support and onboarding coaching so employers can confidently integrate new talent
This initiative will help build scalable, inclusive employment pathways for youth who have a disability and gives employers better tools to support long-term success.
